چکیده

Abstract Aim Surgical simulators equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) systems provide risk-free training on realistically simulated complex patient cases, objective performance assessment, and tailored error avoidance feedback. This study compared the efficacy of real-time AI instruction human instructor-mediated in surgical technical skills teaching. Method Medical students (n = 98) were randomly allocated into three feedback groups. Everyone repeated a virtual brain tumour resection five times. The first repetition was done without receiving to assess their baseline performance. Students Group 1 did not receive feedback, they shown visual only after each procedure based expert benchmarks. 2 instructed by system. After task, error-video clips generated this system alongside expert-level demonstrations relating error. 3 instructors during tasks. summarized areas improvement demonstrated correction techniques. All participant data scored using composite-score. Statistical analysis conducted compare learning from last task repetition. Results significantly improved score third second repetition, respectively (p<0.01, p 0.01) achieved higher scores than those fifth (p<0.01). Conclusions Artificial may competency-based curricula efficient teaching methodologies.

Training Mothers to Improve Gross Motor Skills in Children With Cerebral Palsy: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Objectives: The present study examined the effect of home-based handling training of mothers on the improvement of gross motor function of children with Cerebral Palsy (CP). Methods: In this randomized control trial, 42 children with CP (5-12 years old) were randomly assigned into the intervention and control groups. Data were collected using the Gross Motor Function Classification System and ...

Sequencing Vocabulary Instruction: Artificial vs. Real Users

There are various widely researched strategies that appear to be helpful in some, but not necessarily all vocabulary learning situations. However, an early report suggested that an extremely simple strategy, in which only the ordering of the material presented is varied, might have very substantial effects on learning and recall. These observations have been used as the basis of many subsequent...

A randomized controlled trial of simulation-based teaching versus traditional instruction in medicine: a pilot study among clinical medical students.

OBJECTIVE To compare simulator-based teaching with traditional instruction among clinical medical students. METHODS Randomized controlled trial with written pre-post testing. Third-year medical students (n = 38) received either a myocardial infarction (MI) simulation followed by a reactive airways disease (RAD) lecture, or a RAD simulation followed by an MI lecture. RESULTS Mean pre-post te...

Artificial Intelligence and Computer-Assisted Language Instruction: A Perspective

The article attempts to outline the major components of CALI-AI (computer-assisted language instruction incorporating artificial intelligence techniques). The article begins by discussing briefly the central assumption on which CALI-AI work is based, that is, that human cognitive abilities can be reproduced by mechanical means. It then proceeds to examine the following components of CALI-AI: (1...
